Pamela Love Fall 2011
Just look at that last cuff! JUST LOOK AT IT. Look at that crystal-topped bangle! JUST LOOK AT IT. I want to look like that, every single day. The disheveled hair, the dresses which flow in the wind, the overload of jewelry and occasionally, some psychedelic paint over my eyes. I would be set for life, no doubt about it.

20th Birthday
9am breakfast @ the balcony
2nd best present after his Christmas present!
Warning: This is probably one of the few proper photos in this post that doesn't capture one of us jumping/dancing/screaming around. I swear, we are actually very normal people..
Beyond-excited-to-enter-USS face
Multiple skipping photos..
Them doing somesort of backward dance..
Battlestar Galactica which was opened on the 5th of Feburary when it was supposed to open officially on the 21st!
Post-Battlestar Galactica face
Non-stop dancing to the music played along the streets..
Perfect ending to the day..Churros + Fireworks!
Tips:
#1 Order your tickets in advance, especially if you want to go during the peak season! We wanted to go on Saturday, and on Monday, THE TICKETS WERE ALREADY SOLD OUT. Thank god for our saviour!
#2 It is pretty hot, so sunglasses + comfortable clothes
#3 If you're planning on sitting the Jurassic Park ride, face front, cuz you get the least wet! And, do NOT wear sneakers/suede flats cuz they get totally soaked. It was the ride we queued the longest for (1.5hrs) AND IT WAS SO DISAPPOINTING.
#4 You need to pay for lockers to put your bags if you want to sit the rollercoasters. Its free for the first half an hour, after which you have to pay.
BEST. DAY. EVER. Seriously, we were all so damn happy and contented. Plus the park was opened all the way till 9pm instead of the usual 7pm, and it ended with fireworks at 9.30pm! From GongCha to start our day, to the tram ride over to Sentosa, to seeing the huge unmissable USS Globe, to skipping around the streets, to our over excitement while waiting to sit Battlestar Galactica ("DO YOU FEEL IT? DO YOU FEEL IT????"), to the post-Battlestar Galactica feeling ("MY HEART DROPPED, LITERALLY!" / "WE MUST SPAM THIS RIDE" / "IM..A LITTLE GIDDY"), to the insane laughter at the photos from the secret cameras during the rides (I NEVER SEEM TO BE ABLE TO DO NICE CANDID PHOTOS), to (apparently) the best mash potato ever @ Goldilocks (a restaurant at Far Far Away), to running around mocking statues ("What if one day he gets tired?"), to the incessant tweets and retweets among the 6 Blackberry users, and finally leaving the gates of USS with a flat camera battery. I loved every single minute, and up till today (7 days later), I STILL LAUGH AT THE PHOTOS EVERYTIME I REVISIT THEM. Luv you guys foreverrrrr x

Other than the giggly Japanese girls, it's nice to know that all i need is a laptop,
a projector and some internet access for my very own fashion show at home.

The only person standing in your way is you. It’s time to let her go. Lose yourself.
“I had the craziest dream last night..It’s about a girl who gets turned into a swan and she needs love to break the spell, but her prince falls for the wrong girl so she kills herself.”
I finally caught Black Swan yesterday. It was..hauntingly beautiful. Bordering between pure insanity and pure perfection, most part of the film had you second guessing the very thought you had just one second ago. It was completely riveting, I don't remember a movie where I (for that two hours) completely forgot about my surroundings and just let myself get captivated by the movie. I also don't remember a movie where I was so scared. Scared because of the shocking reflections of Nina's (Natalie Portman) inner self and also because of the disturbing and thrilling themes which run throughout.Ballet is, and will continue to be something I'll always love, and though this was much more darker than most films centered around ballet, it was still beautiful. Besides the lovely costumes designed by the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte and Amy Westcott(a costume designer who also designed costumes in the movie,The Wrestler, and TV series, Entourage), it shows the intensity dancers go through, the pressure, the heartbreak, the jealousy, the friendships, the joy, and the ultimate obsession of Perfection. The film left much interpretation to oneself, and as confusing and as frustrating it is, I think the film was utterly incredible.
