Acts of..

You know what love is? It's not doing whatever the person you care for expects of you. It's doing what they don't expect. It's going above and beyond what you've been asked (or not asked).
I do it because I want You (the only person who ever stole my heart) to feel happy and contented. I make an effort everyday, at every chance I have. I could never stop. Even if I tried.

I CAN TASTE THE MOONLIGHT ON YOUR SKIN. I CAN SMELL IT ON YOUR WARM, GLOWING BREATH.
YOU TOUCH MY WRIST, AND I BREATHE IT IN. I AM A TANGLE OF THOUGHTS ABOUT YOU.
WE ARE INSUBSTANTIAL. WE ARE REVERBERATIONS.

Notice the gold cuff? Yep, have about 6 more silver ones on my dressing table. Some dead simple ones, some with different textures, and some with the metal twisted and contorted in different directions. Guess I can say that this is my new obsession.

BILL CUNNINGHAM NEW YORK a film by Richard Press

"The “Bill” in question is 80+ New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham. For decades, this Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.” Documenting uptown fixtures (Wintour, Tom Wolfe, Brooke Astor, David Rockefeller—who all appear in the film out of their love for Bill), downtown eccentrics and everyone in between, Cunningham’s enormous body of work is more reliable than any catwalk as an expression of time, place and individual flair. In turn, Bill Cunningham New York is a delicate, funny and often poignant portrait of a dedicated artist whose only wealth is his own humanity and unassuming grace."
I do want to catch this..somehow. Just like "The September Issue", documentaries about fashion-related personalities are too precious to let slip.

Men's Fashion Week Asia

A couple of shots from Men's Fashion Week 2011 in Singapore. We're only the third country to host it after Milan and Paris, can you believe it? Caught JailJeans, Jerome Lorico, JBB, S2VS and A.testoni. I would say it was a really good experience, from the initial fear of being late, to the realisation that no matter how late you are, the shows always start later, to the spotting of major eye candy (+Bryanboy +tons of celebrities) and lust-worthy dresses, to the majestic view of Singapore from Marina Bay Sands and of course, the shows themselves.
The last photo of myself was shot by James Bent from LA MODE OUTRÉ

'Armor Jewelry'

Collection Eleven..I am speechless. New York-based designer, Sandee Shin busted out this beautiful collection after a hard 8 months, and every single piece is an investment. So sleek, so chic, so timeless..I'm yearning so badly for the band ring and cuff in the very last picture. With such statement pieces, do you style your jewelry around your clothes or the other way round? Check her out HERE.
